Eis Vogel Freegel Chunk

EISVOGEL’s Freegel Chunk is a 3-inch craw-style soft lure designed to produce strong but controlled water displacement without becoming excessive. Its wide-profile original tapered claws feature a unique shape that releases water moderately while thoroughly agitating it, making the lure suitable for horizontal presentations such as jig swimming, as well as vertical techniques for probing around cover.

Unlike the flattened body of the Freegel Bug, this model features an oval-shaped body. Designed for use with a jig-swimming presentation, the body is built to resist tearing when mounted on a rubber jig’s bait keeper. The legs and feelers positioned on the body respond to even subtle water movement through their carefully adjusted shapes and placement, producing fine vibrations as the lure falls.

In addition to horizontal manipulation as a rubber jig trailer, it can also be used for pitching and flipping techniques, combining the fall with additional action after contacting the bottom. No officially confirmed hook size or specific hook rigging method is provided; the primary intended use is to secure the body to a rubber jig’s bait keeper.
