Eis Vogel Freegel Bug

EISVOGEL’s Freegel Bug is a 4-inch freestyle bait designed to bring out changes in tempo between “movement” and “stillness” on a Free Rig. During free-fall and swimming, its original tapered claws are designed to stir the water while creating a controlled amount of water displacement without being overly aggressive. After the sinker reaches the bottom, the balance is tuned to allow the body to quickly transition into a horizontal posture.

The deep slit-style ribs on the belly grip the water, helping to slow the fall and stabilize the horizontal posture. The central slit makes it easy to rig the hook, while the four pairs of flexible appendages on the body move even with the slightest current, creating subtle vibrations during a slow fall. On a Free Rig, anglers can create changes in action through manipulation—from free-fall to swimming and finally to a stationary presentation after the sinker reaches the bottom. It is also compatible with Texas and Carolina rigs, and is designed to be rigged with a narrow-gap #4/0 offset hook.
