Gary International’s Gary YAMAMOTO DOUBLE TAIL HULA GRUB is a compact 2.5-inch double-tail model that condenses the key features of the classic model into a smaller body, making it well suited to high-pressure conditions and situations where fish are focused on small bait. The body features a simple Yamamoto Senko-style shape, with two curly tails at the rear and a skirt-like component around the center. Its distinctive body shape helps it maintain its posture on the bottom, while the tails and skirt move underwater to attract fish. Despite being downsized to 2.5 inches, it retains the signature Hula Grub action while allowing anglers to present a smaller profile. It is officially intended for use with small jigheads and can be fished from shallow to deep water by adjusting the rig weight and retrieve technique. Along the bottom, it is well suited to presentations such as dragging and lift-and-fall retrieves, creating an enticing action as the tails and skirt sway in response to the jighead’s movement.
