Yamamoto Zako Swimbait

Yamamoto Baits’ Zako Swimbait is a soft lure featuring a segmented body design and natural profile, developed primarily for use as a trailer on vibration jigs. Available in 3-inch and 4-inch sizes, its segmented body follows the jig’s vibration to produce natural movement. While designed mainly for use with vibration jigs, it can also be used for swimming applications such as a spinnerbait trailer. The different sizes make it easy to adjust the profile and volume, allowing you to choose the right option based on the size of the lure it is paired with and the desired underwater presence.

The Zako Slim retains the basic action of the Zako while featuring a slimmer, more compact shape in a 3.5-inch model. Its tapered body and highly responsive tail create a quick side-to-side action that moves in sync with the blade jig. It pairs well with smaller vibration jigs and is suited to situations where the standard Zako provides too much volume or a more subtle profile is preferred.
