ONEOFF’s PINFY is a 2.5-inch worm developed for use with drop-shot rigs, designed to provide presence and stability within a simple structure. In its standard setup, it produces subtle vibrations when shaken, while the body and tail move softly when dragged along the bottom. Cutting part of the tail changes the water movement, creating an action that is difficult to produce in its standard configuration.
With the basic wacky-style threading, it is suited to slow bottom-dragging retrieves and fine shaking in one spot. It can also be rigged wacky-style; dragging it while shaking it finely produces an action different from that of the threaded setup. The recommended hooks are #10 or #8 masu hooks, with the official example based on 2.5 lb fluorocarbon line and a 1.8 g sinker. The wacky setup also supports multi-hook rigging, making this a model that lets anglers experiment with action changes based on the rigging configuration.
