DreamExpressLures’ HOG HUNTER was developed as a crankbait for targeting reservoir rock, inspired by the Magnum Wiggle Wart. It reaches depths of around 3 m, and its body weight is set at approximately 20 g to balance casting distance and retrieve feel. To reduce snagging on rock, it features increased buoyancy and pursues a predictable, stable hunting action with tight wobbling. It has also been tested in the weed areas of Lake Biwa.

The body features a solid construction made from a proprietary blend of urethane-based material and glass balloons, with an internal wire running continuously from the front hook hanger to the rear hook hanger. The lip is an original circuit-board lip made from PCB glass-epoxy board, and the line tie uses 0.9 mm 304 stainless-steel wire. With 14 lb fluorocarbon, the HOG HUNTER 2.0+ has an approximate diving range of 2.3–2.5 m, while the 3.0+ reaches approximately 3.3–3.5 m. In addition to the basic technique of maintaining a steady retrieve, it can also be used to work different depths while making contact with rock and weed. The standard setup is #4 RC Kamakiri treble hooks front and rear, with #2 split rings front and rear.
