DreamExpressLures’ FLATFACE was developed from the concept of creating a flat-sided crankbait capable of exploring depths that had previously been out of reach. Designed to dive to its maximum depth on a slow retrieve, the DR3m functions as a 3 m diver, while the DR4m functions as a 4 m diver. Although it is a flat-sided crankbait, its hard solid body helps optimize casting posture and body balance, making it easier to achieve long casting distances. Because the body is not hollow, it is also less likely to sink due to water entering the interior.

The basic technique is to retrieve it slowly at a steady speed until it reaches the designated depth range. The DR3m is suited to relatively shallow deep-water ranges, while the DR4m is designed to explore deeper water, allowing you to select the model according to the depth you want to target. The two models also differ in weight, with the DR3m weighing approximately 28 g and the DR4m approximately 40 g, allowing them to be used with different tackle and retrieve speeds. The manufacturer recommends pairing the DR3m with the Magic Blade model and the DR4m with the Treasure Trap model.
