Go Fishing G-guard

GO FISHING’s G GUARD is a removable wire guard designed to be installed on DRT KLASH series lures, making them easier to navigate around cover such as submerged timber and weeds. By helping the lure deflect off obstacles, it expands your options for fishing spots you may previously have avoided due to concerns about snagging. During development, the wire’s hardness and diameter were considered based on actual fishing conditions. The design is intended not only to reduce tangles, but also to help prevent missed opportunities for bites along cover.

The lineup includes models for the KLASH9, TiNYKLASH, and the lipless version of the KLASH GHOST, with specifications matched to each lure’s shape and whether or not it has a lip. Models for the TiNYKLASH are available for both lip-on and lipless configurations, while KLASH9 models are likewise selected according to whether the lure is fitted with a lip or used lipless. The design is intended to maintain the lure’s original action after installation and supports a retrieve method in which the guard is allowed to contact obstacles as the lure is worked through cover after casting. Because impacts or contact with cover may cause the guard to loosen, check that it remains securely attached during use.
