Genius Silicon Tube

G-nius project’s Silicone Tubes are worm-mounting accessories developed to minimize interference with a worm’s action and hook-setting performance. Made using a manufacturing process different from that of conventional silicone tubes, they offer reliable strength. Mounting a tube on the worm is designed to help reduce wear on both the worm and sinker.

Six inner-diameter sizes are available: 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm. An assortment containing one each of the 3 mm through 8 mm sizes is also available. The easy-to-select sizes accommodate different worm diameters and rigs, and are intended for use in neko rigs and wacky-style setups by passing the hook through the tube section. During installation, the tube can be expanded with separately sold silicone tube pliers, allowing the worm to be inserted into the opening. By selecting the appropriate tube size, this silicone tube helps secure the worm and position the hook.
