Pay Forward V3 Minnow

PAYFORWARD’s V3 Minnow is a floating minnow developed to imitate small baitfish such as wakasagi and shirauo that do not swim actively, with the aim of frustrating bass and drawing them up to the lure. Rather than the fine, high-pitch action common to conventional minnows, it features an extremely weak, wobbling and wavering swimming action. Based on Daisuke Kita’s water-clarity theory, it pursues an action that makes it difficult for big bass to learn the lure’s movement. It is designed for use in waters inhabited by shiner-type small baitfish such as wakasagi and shirauo, including the Kasumigaura water system where its development began.

The basic presentation is a straight retrieve ranging from a medium retrieve to a dead-slow retrieve. Retrieving at a consistent speed brings out its weak swimming action. Depending on the conditions, it can also be used with stop-and-go retrieves and twitches, allowing anglers to combine pauses and movement rather than relying solely on a continuous retrieve. The V3 Minnow 72F is a 72 mm, 4.4 g floating model equipped as standard with Ichikawa Fishing Kamakiri 84S #8 hooks. It is a model that makes it easy to create a natural presentation focused on small baitfish that appear to be in a low-activity state.
