Pay Forward One Eight

PAYFORWARD’s One Eight MR is designed as a crankbait capable of eliciting bites in open water, combining mid-range fast retrieves and cover cranking—two distinct applications—within a single body. Its fan lip features an intermediate shape between the straight-tracking performance of a round lip and the deflection characteristics of a square lip when contacting cover, providing easy casting and swimming performance while also considering its response when making contact with structure.

Measuring 57 mm in length and weighing 11 g, this floating model has a maximum diving depth of approximately 1.5 m. It readily maintains its swimming posture across a wide range of retrieve speeds, from slow retrieves for low-activity fish to fast movements designed to trigger a reaction. It can be retrieved quickly through the mid-water column to keep the lure tracking the target depth for longer, while also being suitable for slow retrieves and bottom knocking. It is equipped with #6 hooks. Designed with reduced buoyancy to target a deeper range than the SR, it maintains a responsive action at the MR’s depth by adjusting the weight with hooks one size smaller.
