Tsurikichi Hormone PIG MOMMY was developed as a pork lure in an intermediate size between the PIG DADDY and PIG DADDY Jr. Its approximately 8 cm body is designed to match the sizes of mainstream rubber jigs, making it suitable for situations where the existing models are difficult to use due to their size. Made from pork rind, it is sized specifically for use as a trailer on a rubber jig.
A neutral saltwater solution is used as the preservative. Soaking the lure in a highly concentrated saltwater solution draws moisture out of the pork through osmosis, leaving it slightly firmer during storage. When immersed in freshwater while fishing, however, moisture enters the pork, making it slightly softer. After fishing, return the lure to the preservative solution while it still contains moisture. For repeated use, add salt or replace the preservative solution to prevent its salinity from decreasing. PIG MOMMY is an FECO-certified model.
