YARIE’s Dove WF is a metal spoon developed under the supervision of Kazuto Yamaki for long-distance casting to offshore areas that are difficult to reach from shore and for covering large expanses of water. Its 83 mm, 20 g steel body delivers excellent casting distance, while its design makes it kick back upon landing, allowing it to be sent beneath overhanging cover beyond the landing point and around tight structure.
The wide front profile combined with a slim body makes it easy to generate action even during a slow retrieve. After a long cast, it is suited to a steady slow retrieve, while allowing anglers to target different depths by letting it sink briefly before beginning the retrieve. As it produces intense flashing on the fall, it can attract fish not only on the retrieve but also with vertical presentations such as lift-and-fall. With its 20 g weight and 83 mm body, this model efficiently searches a wide area and is suited to targeting distant predatory fish and larger fish.
