ism’s CLOSER is a high-power, high-pitch compact plug that combines a shad-shaped profile and shad-like tight pitch with the powerful action of a crankbait. Rather than the weak movement often associated with small lures, it is designed to create a strong presence with a powerful, fast wobbling action, giving it a character positioned between a shad and a crankbait. Its nose-down, high-floating design makes it easier to deflect off cover when cranking around structure, while maintaining a stable, high-pitch action in open water. Inside, it features a magnetic weight-transfer system to help achieve greater casting distance.

The basic presentation is a steady retrieve, and it is suitable for cranking while contacting cover, twitching in open water, and high-speed retrieves. Its running depth is 1.8–2.5 m when used with 8–12 lb line. With a 55 mm body and a weight of 6 g, it efficiently searches the midwater range by taking advantage of its strong water displacement. It is equipped with RYUGI Pierce Treble Tagger #8 hooks at both the front and rear. From presentations that incorporate deflections and contact with cover to fast-paced searching across wide areas, this model combines the compact profile of a small plug with the appeal and power of a crankbait.
