STUDIO COMPOSITE’s TWIN DM is a twin hook designed with big-bait hook-ups in mind. Because the body of a wide-profile big bait can easily obstruct the hook points, it features a longer shank and wider gap than conventional treble hooks. The two hooks are set at a 100-degree angle to help keep the hook points in effective positions.
The hook diameter is also designed to be slim to provide improved penetration, even around hard mouths. With its twin-hook structure, in which the two hooks move independently, it can be rigged as a replacement hook while minimizing interference with the plug body. Available in sizes from #2 to #5/0, it can be selected to match the body size of the plug being used and the clearance around its eyelets. When replacing treble hooks, check not only the hook size but also the combination with the split ring, as well as the effect on the lure’s posture and action.
