BOOYAH’s Covert Series is based on the spinnerbait tuning and design philosophy developed over many years by professional angler Jason Christie. The series offers different combinations of head colors, skirts, and blades for various conditions. Combinations include orange- and red-toned heads with white- and chartreuse-toned skirts, selected with light levels, water color, and season in mind. Some models also feature an orange kicker blade to enhance visibility.

The blades are made by Hildebrandt and generate flash and vibration. The head features a unique design with the gills angled toward the rear, allowing it to absorb the torque generated by the blades. This helps prevent the lure from rolling onto its side during the retrieve and enables it to track straight with stability. The frame uses unplated 17-7 stainless steel wire, offering durability while accommodating blade vibration. The wire trailer keeper allows a soft bait to be rigged and used with the sharp hook. Models are primarily available in 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz, 3/4 oz, and 1 oz, with hook sizes set at 4/0 or 5/0 depending on the weight. They are available with different blade configurations, including single Colorado and tandem setups.
