Bottomup Jolly

Bottomup’s JOLLY was developed to combine the flashing, scraping sounds, and water displacement of a sinking swisher with a lively body action. Its three-section body features deliberately tight joint movement, creating a lifelike rolling action without excessive side-to-side weaving. The design keeps the action stable and does not interfere with prop rotation. Its slim-looking silhouette and belly-narrow, back-wide body shape provide the necessary buoyancy, allowing it to swim near the surface in an almost horizontal posture.

The specially designed original props rotate rapidly even on a slow retrieve, producing visual flashing, scraping sounds, and water vibrations. The 0.6 mm circuit-board lip uses an external bonding structure to improve responsiveness to the rolling action, while its nearly vertical positioning makes it easier to avoid cover such as branches. Primarily intended for a steady, slow retrieve, raising the rod and reeling after the lure lands allows it to function as a wakebait that produces a wake and swishing sounds. At an ultra-dead-slow retrieve, it can be used as an I-shaped lure, rotating the props while subtly vibrating the body. Retrieving while shaking the rod creates a rolling action with limited forward movement. Measuring 75 mm and weighing 9.2 g, it is designed to sink slowly and is compatible with both baitcasting and spinning tackle. It comes standard with Hayabusa Shunkan貫 Treble Hooks #8.
