Bottomup Hurry Shrimp

Bottomup’s Hurry Shrimp is a shrimp-style soft bait developed to reproduce the subtle movements of a real shrimp and perform in situations where bass are wary of soft baits with overly aggressive action. Its uniquely shaped claws produce rapid, fine vibrations on the fall and during swimming, with the movement extending through the arms. The whiskers, combining vertically and horizontally flattened sections, quickly shed water during shaking and generate a complex action, trembling from side to side as the body tips over. The legs, designed with carefully selected thickness and length, also produce fine vibrations regardless of the rig or retrieve technique, creating a natural movement that mimics a shrimp drifting while pushing water.

The 4.0-inch model uses a material blended with shrimp, squid, and baitfish powder, with careful attention given to the hardness and salt content required to produce its action. In an offset-style setup focused on snag resistance, it is less likely to cling to cover. When rigged for a backslide presentation, it falls quickly and then creates a subtle rise-and-fall action after the sinker reaches the bottom. Recommended hook sizes are #2/0–3/0. The 3.0-inch model is a downsized version featuring a laterally balanced body and a low center of gravity, with approximately twice as much salt on the belly as on the back. This allows it to swim naturally without rolling, even on a Carolina rig. It is suitable for light Carolina rigs, neko rigs, drop shots, weightless rigs, and swim jig trailers. When used as a swim jig trailer, cutting off the tail creates a more integrated profile, while the arms naturally open and close as the bait tips over on the bottom.
