Ichikawa Fishing RC King Kong Shad

Ichikawa Fishing’s RC KINGKONG SHAD 10 is a crankbait designed for catching big fish, with Rick Clunn carefully selecting everything from the body design and lure name to the colors. Based on the development concept of targeting large fish with a large lure, it is designed for power fishing with a big crankbait.

The 86 mm, 35 g body has a diving depth of 2.4–3 m. A stop-and-go retrieve—alternating between a fast retrieve and brief pauses—is recommended as an effective technique. Rather than simply reeling continuously, anglers can create intentional pauses during the retrieve to entice fish. Use with 14–17 lb line and a 7–8 ft heavy-action rod is recommended. It comes standard with RC KAMAKIRI #1 hooks, allowing it to be used with the setup ready straight out of the package. For situations that call for working a deeper range, this model is a large crankbait supervised by Rick Clunn, designed to be worked with a combination of fast retrieves and pauses.
