Ichikawa Fishing Worm Hook

Ichikawa Fishing’s worm hooks are a series designed to let anglers choose the right hook according to the rig and the way they work their worms. The CT-5 is a baitholder-style hook suited to drop-shot and neko rigs, featuring a highly penetrating Magic coating. The CT-5 Weed Guard is based on the CT-5 design and features a V-shaped guard for fishing around cover. Both models are made in Japan.

The PK-2 Offset Hook features a versatile offset design that accommodates a wide range of worm types and rigs, while minimizing snagging in heavy weeds and other cover. The SP Hook Offset Hook is designed for horizontally worked presentations with worms such as swimbaits, buzz frogs, and soft jerkbaits. Its long eye helps reduce damage to the worm at the offset section, while the offset angle, hook-point angle, and bend angle hold the worm securely and help maintain its rigged position during jerks and repeated casts. When a fish bites, the worm slides back to expose the hook point more easily. The appropriate gap width also balances worm action and hook-setting performance. Built with heavy wire and a super-smooth PTFE coating, it is suited to weightless presentations and powerful strikes.
