DRT Hook

DRT (DRT Inc.) SHARX hooks are original DRT hooks designed to deliver reliable hook-setting performance with big baits while addressing hook tangles that can easily occur during casting. With a conventional shape in which the hook point turns inward when load is applied during a hookset, the barb can interfere with penetration as the hook size increases. For this reason, this model features an outbarb design, engineered to provide smooth penetration close to that of a barbless hook.

The hook features a long throat and sproat bend, making it easier to keep hooked fish pinned. The outbarb design also makes it easier to free the hook when big baits become “balled up,” a common issue caused by casting errors, strong winds, or overruns with lipless glide baits. The surface is finished in a matte stealth gray to minimize shine. Available sizes are #1, #1/0, and #2/0. DRT recommends #2/0 for the KLASH FRENZY; #1 or #1/0 for the KLASH GHOST; #2/0 for the KLASH JOKER; and #1 or #1/0 for the KLASH9.
