Bass Mark Cat Stopper

BASS MARK’s Neko Stopper is a rig component designed to help reduce common Neko-rig issues, such as worms tearing and the worm or sinker slipping off during casting. Made from SUS304 stainless-steel wire in a unique shape, it is inserted into the worm for use. The eye section can be fitted with a clear resin heat-shrink tube to help prevent the hook from slipping out, while also assisting in securing the worm.

In the standard setup, insert the Neko Stopper so that the eye protrudes slightly from the worm, allowing the worm an appropriate degree of freedom. The hook is secured by passing it through the heat-shrink tube on the eye section, and the setup also allows the hook to be attached and removed. The Neko Stopper can also be embedded in the worm or used without the heat-shrink tube, allowing the setup to be adjusted according to the worm’s shape and the method used to secure the hook. Its structure is easy to adapt to worms with complex shapes, such as craw-style worms. Six sizes are available: S5, S6, M7, M8, L9, and L10. The number indicates the approximate recommended worm thickness. The finished version comes with the heat-shrink tube already fitted, while the DIY version requires the included tube to be installed by the user. Heavy-wire and Ring Plus versions, which combine the stopper with a stainless-steel washer, are also available.
