Black Label Tackle’s Little Cliffie was developed to provide the natural presence of a typical flat-sided crankbait while reaching a slightly deeper range than crankbaits of the same size. Its distinctive, slim yet rounded body generates a swimming action with a tight vibration. Made from balsa, this handmade bait is finished through 45 steps, from carving to the final clear coat, and is designed to take advantage of the lively action and buoyancy unique to balsa.

Measuring 2 1/8 inches in length and weighing 5/16 ounce, it has a standard diving depth of 5–6 feet and is said to reach deeper ranges when paired with lighter line. It is suited to clear water and highly pressured fisheries when a tight action that does not push too aggressively is desired. The body is equipped with Mustad hooks featuring sharp points, allowing it to be used straight out of the package. Begin with a steady retrieve, adjusting line diameter according to the target range and depth to bring out the natural swimming action characteristic of a flat-sided crankbait.
