Flash Union Direction Jig

FLASH UNION’s Direction Jig is a small rubber jig designed to maintain a stable posture with a low center of gravity, allowing it to be presented tightly to cover and structure even with its compact head. Its original semi-delta round head slips through cover easily while retaining an appropriate degree of resistance, and its shape makes it easier to detect changes in the bottom. The delta keeper on the underside of the head helps lower the center of gravity and keeps the hook point facing upward, reducing snagging as the jig passes through cover.

The skirt uses a custom square silicone skirt designed from the material up to reproduce the texture of fine living rubber. It produces soft movement that responds readily to water flow, creating the presence characteristic of a rubber jig. The guard features a triple-brush design that balances cover performance with ease of setting the hook. If desired, one brush can be cut to convert it to a double-brush configuration. The hook is a high-strength Nogales hook treated with a Zero Friction coating to reduce friction during hooksets. The 0.9 g, 1.3 g, and 1.8 g models feature double-brush guards, while the 4.5 g model uses a quattro-brush configuration; the construction also differs among the various weights, including the 2.4 g, 2.8 g, and 3.5 g models. This versatile model is easy to match to different setups, from bait finesse to conventional baitcasting tackle, according to the weight.
