Flash Union Flush Straight

FLASH UNION’s Flash Straight 5.8-inch is a straight worm designed to deliver a responsive action to subtle shaking around cover, while producing significant movement throughout the entire body even with slow retrieves. Its tapered waist at the center of the body amplifies movement. When paired with a neko-rig offset setup, force is transferred from the firm pivot point created behind the hook to the tail. The worm responds linearly to even small inputs, creating an enticing, seductive body shake.

When a sinker is inserted into the head, the head section catches water pressure and swings from side to side as the line is slowly pulled, functioning much like the lip of a hard bait. During shaking, the lip effect of the head causes the body to roll, creating flashes while the movement carries through to the tail in a lateral wobbling action. The central waist further intensifies the swing, producing an action similar to that of a jointed plug. In addition to neko rigs, it is compatible with slip-through rigs and jighead wacky rigs. The 5.8-inch model is designed as a standard size that is easy to use with both baitcasting and spinning tackle.

When using a neko-rig offset setup, the center hole is normally used among the three hook holes provided in the center of the body. The recommended hooks are the Nogales Hooking Master Neko Rig Offset Heavy Class #1 or #1/0. Insert the hook so it passes through the center of the worm, then secure its position with the included peg or a similar stopper.
