Sumlures Sum Vibration

SUM Lures’ SUM VIBration series is designed as a vibration plug that is easy to work from shore. Rather than adding more weight than necessary, each model is adjusted to a specific density that makes it easy to trace shallow water. Based on Mr. Sam Yamaoka’s handmade “F8 Vibe,” the series evolved through foam-resin models before being converted to injection molding in 2016. All models feature a non-rattle design and are engineered to keep pulling resistance low while initiating their action easily, even on a slow retrieve.

The SUM VIBration 15G is the heaviest model in the series, a 75 mm sinking model weighing approximately 15.4 g. Compared with the 13G and similar models, it reaches depth more quickly on the countdown and offers an advantage in casting distance. At the same time, it retains the delicate action carried over from the SUM VIBration series and can also be used to target shallow water at slow retrieve speeds. After the lure lands, adjust the depth with the countdown and retrieve at a steady speed as the basic approach. This model is also easy to use for targeting different depths in current or rough conditions. The standard hooks are size #6, and the recommended line is 12–16 lb nylon.
