LEGIT DESIGN’s STAND OUT SOC74MH-2 is a 7-foot 4-inch baitcasting rod designed for long-range power fishing, allowing you to cast far and target fish at a distance. Its regular-taper blank makes it easy to load with the weight of the lure, while the longer rear grip and guide setup facilitate long casts. In addition to casting performance, the rod is designed with consideration for lure control, sensitivity to detect lure action and movement, hook-setting performance at long range, and the butt power needed to bring fish in.

The rod measures 2.23 m in length, weighs 118 g, and is rated for lures up to 42 g and 14–20 lb line. Its smooth bend curve makes rigs and lures easy to control, while its MH-action power handles a wide range of power-fishing applications, including jigs, heavy Carolina rigs, high-specific-gravity weightless rigs, hard baits such as lipless crankbaits and spinnerbaits, and big baits in the 1.5 oz class. It features a center-cut two-piece design, a blank built primarily with 24T carbon along with 30T and 40T carbon materials positioned where needed, and Fuji Alconite rings with stainless-steel frame guides. Centered on long-distance casting, this model is easy to use when covering a wide area from the bank.
