LEGIT DESIGN’s WILD SIDE MULTI PIECE spinning models are designed to accommodate a wide range of bass fishing styles while maintaining excellent portability. Rather than simply prioritizing packability, as is often the case with multi-piece rods, the development concept focused on carefully selecting the materials, components, actions, and lengths to expand the range of fishing environments and trip styles available to anglers. The spinning lineup includes the WSS63L-5, designed for finesse fishing in general, and the WSS610ML-5, which takes advantage of its longer length to handle a wide variety of lures and rigs.

The blanks are constructed primarily from carbon, combined with aramid and glass, and both models feature aramid reinforcement suited to their multi-piece construction. The 6'3" WSS63L-5 has an MF action, a lure rating of 0.9–7 g, and a line rating of 3–6 lb. In addition to light rigs such as weightless rigs, drop shots, and neko rigs, it also handles lightweight hard baits such as shad lures. Its five-piece construction provides excellent portability, with a packed length of 44 cm. The 6'10" WSS610ML-5 has an MF action, a lure rating of 1.8–11 g, and a line rating of 3–8 lb. It can be used for straight-retrieve and bug-type lures with PE line, power finesse techniques, light Carolina rigs with fluorocarbon line, and long-distance casting of high-specific-gravity weightless worms. With a packed length of 48 cm, it is well suited to fishing trips where portability and minimal storage space are important.
