DSTYLE’s FREEIMO45 is a 45 mm model designed in an imō-style shape with a flexible body achieved by varying the depth and configuration of the ribs between the front and rear sections. The ribs in the main section are made shallower to accommodate a higher salt content, while the rear section combines deeper ribs with a narrowed waist, allowing the rear half of the body to move flexibly. This design adds soft movement to the simplicity commonly associated with imō-style baits, with the aim of improving hookup performance. Micro legs on both sides of the body add presence through subtle appendages while maintaining a compact silhouette.

A keel-shaped slit keel is positioned along the underside to sharpen the action during twitches. The slit is cut deeply, making it easier to conceal the hook point toward the keel side when using an offset hook, allowing for a setup that minimizes the visibility of the hook. The body uses salt-in material containing an amount of salt and foaming agent suited to its size. Rather than limiting the retrieve method or hook orientation, anglers can vary the rib direction and hook setup to produce reaction-style presentations with twitches or take advantage of the flexible body for different applications.
