DSTYLE’s RESERVE is a baitfish-like small topwater plug developed to imitate a weakened baitfish struggling on the surface. Wings attached to the body create a slow surface action, and the lure is designed to entice fish with the impression of multiple baitfish tangling together, rather than simply moving the wings. This floating model measures 70.0 mm in length and weighs 5 g, and is fitted with #8 hooks and #1 split rings.

The lure can be worked with a fine rod-tip shake to create a struggling motion on the surface, while a steady retrieve brings out the wings’ frantic fluttering action. It supports three presentation styles: letting it sit after landing, shaking it to make it twitch, and retrieving it at a steady speed. The strength and tempo of the action can be adjusted to suit the conditions. The RESERVE lineup also includes the smaller RESERVE Jr., designed for a more powerful fluttering action; the upsized RESERVE BIG, featuring smooth movement from its jointed construction; and the RESERVE Hatch, which maintains the series’ signature action while offering a wider range of effective retrieve speeds.
