DSTYLE’s D1 is a soft lure designed primarily as a trailer for small rubber jigs. It combines a design that responds sensitively to rod work with a shad-shaped profile inspired by baitfish. During shaking, the diamond-shaped connection points throughout the body convert the vertical movement transmitted from the rod into lateral movement, producing a fine, three-dimensional action. The slits along the sides of the body amplify the action under water pressure, while the fins beneath the tail release water laterally to regulate the movement of the body and tail. On a straight retrieve, the larger ribs catch the current, creating a subtle action produced by the combination of the tail’s bulk and the stabilizing effect of the fins.

The 2.2-inch model has a silhouette that blends easily with the skirt of a small rubber jig, and is also suitable for jighead and drop-shot rigs. Official recommendations include midwater swimming and bottom shaking on a jighead, as well as drop-shot presentations. For drop-shot rigs, a setup using a trout-style hook is recommended over an offset hook, which makes it easier to secure the body in place. The 3.8-inch model features a redesigned tail that produces fine vibrations during a weightless fall, on a heavy drop-shot rig, and with a leaderless drop-shot. As a chatterbait trailer, it also responds to high-speed retrieves and is intended for use as a trailer on the D-BLADE. Both the 2.2-inch and 3.8-inch models are infused with a biological flavor and scent formula.
