Savage Gear 3D Bat

SAVAGE GEAR’s 3D Bat F is a realistic-profile crawler-style topwater lure featuring body details based on a 3D scan of a real bat. Its flattened ABS body rises quickly after landing and produces a smooth rolling action even on a slow retrieve. The raised texture on the body surface grips and agitates the water, while the slim stainless-steel wings, which are easy to adjust for angle, churn the surface and create a distinctive crawling action.

A rattle is built into the body, allowing the lure to attract fish with sound as well as movement. Its buoyant floating design is suited to surface-oriented retrieves. The rear hook is fitted with a feather, creating a natural surface silhouette while reducing the visual presence of the hook. The lure uses Y-shaped treble hooks designed for strong penetration and finished in black nickel. Measuring 4 inches, approximately 10 cm and weighing approximately 30 g, it can be used for surface fishing with anything from a steady straight retrieve to speed variations, taking advantage of the water displacement from the wings and the sound of the rattle.
