GOOBER’s Echizen Buzz is a 3/8 oz model developed with a focus on castability as a buzzbait. In addition to long casts and accurate casts to targeted spots, it is designed to handle skipping into the back of cover. The blade starts spinning easily immediately after landing, and its quick response when the retrieve begins helps trigger bites right after the lure hits the water.
The guard uses shape-memory wire. Its design is intended to navigate around obstacles while minimizing interference with hooksets, making it easier to trace areas such as bushes and aquatic vegetation where conventional buzzbaits are prone to snagging. After casting, it is suited to the basic technique of retrieving at a steady speed across the surface, as well as skipping it alongside cover and running it around bushes and aquatic vegetation.
