Goober Echizen Spin

GOOBER’s Echizen Spin is a wire bait that combines elements of a swimming worm and a spinnerbait. Rather than being simply a search bait, it is designed to accommodate bite-triggering presentations by pairing it with a worm. Use it with a stick bait, grub, or other trailer. The blade begins spinning immediately upon landing, generating vibration and attraction from the moment you start the retrieve.

The blade’s vibration is transmitted easily to the rod, making it well suited to slow-rolling and allowing you to trace any desired depth from the surface to the bottom. Because the blade continues to vibrate steadily even at ultra-slow speeds, it can be worked through areas such as reed edges, pilings, brush piles, standing timber, and bushes, as well as along breaks around riprap and tetrapods. It also supports approaches beyond a simple retrieve, including curved falls and lift-and-fall presentations. The 1/4 oz model uses a #3 hammered Colorado blade, the 3/8 oz model a #4, and the 1/2 oz model a #4.5, with the blade size matched to the lure weight. Some colors feature a silver blade.
