Issei AK Punch

issei’s AK Punch 2.4in, 2.8in, and 3.3in are high-vibration soft baits designed around a semi-shrimp profile, with a focus on both soft-bait functionality and realistic form. Their voluminous, bulky tails vibrate up and down to generate strong water displacement, producing a distinctive action in response to retrieves and rod movements. When paired with an offset hook, the tail can continue vibrating even when the bait is worked deep into wood cover or vegetation, making it suitable for presentations that create a strong appeal inside cover.

With a weightless or nail rig, the basic approach is to impart action in sync with rod movements, while with a Texas rig or free rig, the tail vibrates during the fall as well. Officially, it is also intended for use with a Jika rig or as a trailer, allowing different presentations during the fall, along the bottom, and around cover depending on the rig. Recommended hooks are Multi Offset #2 to #1 for the 2.4in, #1 to #1/0 for the 2.8in, and #2/0 to #4/0 for the 3.3in. Available sizes are 2.4in, 2.8in, and 3.3in, allowing you to choose according to the hook size and rig being used, as well as the scale of the cover being targeted. With a weightless or nail rig, the bait may occasionally spin; if this occurs, stop the movement temporarily before imparting action again.
