Issei Lair Minnow

issei’s LiarmInnow is a soft bait featuring a realistic baitfish silhouette combined with a vertically symmetrical Register Shad Tail. It is designed to produce subtle vibrations and vortices while maintaining a horizontal posture. The LiarmInnow 3-inch can also be cut along the slit in the tail section to produce a sliding dart action that responds to rod movements such as twitches and jerks. When used uncut, it can be swum while taking advantage of the subtle vibrations generated by the shad tail, allowing anglers to use different actions depending on the condition of the tail. It supports a wide range of setups, including jighead swimming, the surface “piku-piku” method using a trout hook, weightless rigs, and various other rigs.

The 4-inch and 5-inch models are upsized versions that retain the basic design of the 3-inch model while featuring a realistic silhouette, Register Shad Tail, and an internal air chamber in the body. They can be matched to the size of the baitfish and are suited to presentations that take advantage of their size or situations where greater casting distance is desired. As a guideline for hook setups, the 3-inch model is suited to an offset hook #2, Multi Offset #1, or Jungle Wacky #6–4, while the 4-inch model is recommended with an offset hook #2–1, Multi Offset #2/0, or Jungle Wacky #4–2. Depending on the tail cut position, rig, and hook placement, these models offer a wide range of presentations, from horizontal swimming and darting to surface-level action.
