Issei Katakuchi Worm Yavakune

issei’s Katakuchi Worm Yabakune is a bass-oriented refinement of the Katakuchi Worm, a realistic-swimming soft bait originally developed for saltwater fishing. The material has been optimized to create the lifelike movement of a small baitfish, and it is available in 4.5-inch and 5.5-inch sizes. The 5.5-inch model features a thick body, while the dorsal and anal fins have been intentionally omitted to produce its distinctive, alluring wriggling action.

The body features a multi-groove design with deep, regularly spaced slits. As the slits catch the current, they create subtle vibrations during the retrieve. A hook-setting guide hole is provided in the center of the head, allowing the hook to be rigged either vertically or horizontally by following the hole. For jigheads, a #2 hook is recommended for the 4.5-inch model and a #1 for the 5.5-inch model. For Multi Offset hooks, the recommended sizes are #2/0–4/0 for the 4.5-inch model and #5/0–6/0 for the 5.5-inch model. With Jungle Wacky hooks, the 4.5-inch model accommodates #2–1, while the 5.5-inch model accommodates #1/0–2/0. In addition to jighead rigs, it can also be used with the Pikupiku setting or as a trailer for the AK Chatter.
