issei’s G.C. Kurukoma is a spinnerbait designed to combine a compact profile with low retrieve resistance, allowing anglers to cover water quickly. Its slightly heavier head is designed for long casts, and it is available in two models: 8 g and 13 g. A compact bending wire is used to help the front and rear blades rotate easily during the fall and on slow retrieves.

The blades are double willow-leaf blades, with their width, thickness, curvature, and overall size carefully adjusted to produce a strong churning effect and high-pitch rotation. The 8 g model features a #2 front blade and a #3 rear blade, while the 13 g model uses a #3 front blade and a #3.5 rear blade. It is also equipped with a silicone skirt tuned to enhance the action, allowing for a light, responsive retrieve. In addition to steady retrieves, it can be used with presentations that incorporate a fall or with slow retrieves, making it well suited for efficiently searching water at a brisk pace while taking advantage of its compact profile.
