Issei Caramel Shad

issei’s Caramel Shad is a shad-tail soft bait designed to produce a strong wobbling action by making its voluminous, flattened body vibrate powerfully at a high pitch. Its body balance transfers the vibrations generated by the tail throughout the entire bait, allowing the body to move in sync with the tail. Numerous block-shaped ribs are arranged across the body surface to create complex turbulence. The tail action pushes water as the bait swims, while the changes in water flow caused by the ribs create a highly noticeable presence during the retrieve.

The 5-inch model combines powerful action with stable swimming performance and is suitable for weightless rigs with an offset hook, nail rigs, trailers for rubber jigs, and jighead rigs. The 3.5-inch and 4-inch models are downsized versions of the 5-inch model, with tail action adjusted to match their respective sizes. They can be used with nail rigs, jighead rigs, rubber jigs, and other presentations. The 2.6-inch model is a compact bait designed for micro-bait patterns and is engineered to swim responsively even during slow retrieves on a weightless offset-hook rig or nail rig. Recommended hook sizes are a #2 Multi Offset for the 2.6-inch model, #1 to 2/0 for the 3.5-inch model, #1/0 to 4/0 for the 4-inch model, and #6/0 for the 5-inch model.
