issei’s Pink Low Stick is a stick bait designed around a crayfish profile to deliver a natural presentation with the “fuwa” floating technique. It features a vertically flattened body with twin pin tails, while varying the salt content between the top and bottom of the body helps it maintain a stable posture underwater. It is also designed for long casts and can be used weightless.
The antennae move enticingly during the fall and retrieve, while the legs create subtle vibrations for a crustacean-like presentation. The body features ribs modeled after a crustacean, with numerous water-catching ribs along the belly. It also includes slits for hook insertion. Typical rigging methods include the “fuwa” technique, allowing the bait to drift on a jig head; a light Texas rig, which makes it easy to move the sinker and soft bait separately; a nail rig for a slower, more natural presentation; and a weightless rig. The recommended hooks for the 4-inch model are sizes #2–1 for jig heads and #2/0 for Multi Offset hooks.
