DUO International’s REALIS MICRODON 88S is a jointed bait developed to combine a “feeding” action that imitates a weakened baitfish with an enticing action that draws fish in. Its lipless design helps prevent the lure from tilting head-down and maintains a natural horizontal posture. The 88 mm, four-piece jointed body is made of full ABS resin to avoid taking on too much water. Smooth body curves, designed with consideration for the cut position and range of movement of each section, produce a lifelike action.
With a fixed-center-of-gravity, slow-sinking design, it produces short-distance side-to-side darts and a writhing panic action. During the retrieve, it moves like a weakened baitfish struggling to escape, while on the fall it attracts fish with the posture and speed of a dying baitfish. Staff reports also introduce using it with a mid-strolling technique to make the jointed body writhe and imitate a weakened fish. It measures 88 mm in length, weighs 5.9 g, and is equipped with No. 8 hooks, a No. 2 line eye, and No. 2 hook eyes.
