DUO’s Realis Spinhook is an underspin-style worm hook that combines an offset hook design with a spinning blade, designed to make finesse soft baits swim straight and steadily. The hook and blade are positioned for center balance, making it easier to maintain the bait’s posture when rigged while adding flash and water displacement from the blade’s rotation during the retrieve. It can be rigged in the same way as a standard offset hook, and another key feature is that it can be used without exposing much of the bait’s body.
The basic presentation is a steady retrieve, but it can also be used during the fall and with lift-and-fall techniques after reaching the bottom. During the retrieve, the soft bait swims as the blade rotates; when paused, the weight causes it to sink, allowing you to search different depths. Multiple hook sizes and weights are available, so you can choose according to the size of the soft bait being used and the desired sink rate. Thread the hook point through the center of the bait’s body and rig it along the offset section to help maintain its posture during the retrieve.
