Duo Realis Popper

DUO International’s REALIS POPPER 64 is a floating popper designed for easy control and to produce a side-to-side walking action on the surface. It responds exceptionally well to rod work, making it easy to create a rolling dogwalk that grips the water while covering minimal distance. The shallow cup face readily responds to rod movements, producing a primarily walking action, while stronger or lighter inputs can also add popping sounds and splashes. It is also suited to situations where you want to pause the lure over a precise spot after the action, or work it around cover without moving it too far.

The body is designed with ample volume to provide casting distance and accuracy. At 64 mm and 9.0 g, it offers an easy-to-handle size and allows you to work the surface while maintaining its floating posture after landing. The tail comes equipped with an original-tied feather hook featuring added tinsel, so the feathers continue to attract fish with subtle movement during pauses after a dogwalk or pop. The front hook is a #6, while the rear is a #6 with feathers; both the line-eye and hook-eye split rings are #2. The lure is best worked with continuous, light rod-tip twitches to create the walking action, with pauses added by stopping the retrieve when targeting pinpoint areas.
