DUO’s REALIS SHAD 59MR is a high-response suspending shad developed for situations in which bass activity tends to decline, such as high-pressure conditions and periods of low water temperature. Its 59 mm, 4.7 g body is equipped with a magnetically fixed weight-transfer system. During the cast, the weight shifts to create a stable flight posture, then locks into place after landing to ensure quick action startup and stable swimming performance.

It performs across a wide range of retrieve speeds, from slow to fast, producing a wob’n’roll action that combines wobbling and rolling. By diving the lure during the retrieve and taking advantage of its suspending state—allowing it to remain in place without rising during pauses—anglers can use sharp dive-and-pause movements to keep the lure in the strike zone and wait for a bite. Its ability to avoid cover, achieved through the balance of its lip and body, is another key feature. By making contact with the bottom or cover, it can search the area with a worm-like feel. Basic techniques include a steady retrieve and stop-and-go, while gentle twitches can be added as conditions require. It is fitted with #10 hooks, with #1 line-eye and #1.5 hook-eye split rings.
