Grayz G-BALL

FIELD DEVICE’s GRAYZ G-BALL is a soft bait designed with an elastomer spherical body into which rubber strands can be inserted, allowing anglers to adjust the silhouette and water resistance to suit their preferences. Featuring three connected spheres, it can be used as a standalone body, or fitted with a separately sold silicone rubber skirt inserted at any desired position to create a pom-pom-like profile and adjust water displacement. The number and placement of the rubber strands can be changed to alter the bait’s presence, making it easy to tune for different conditions.

It is compatible with cover-oriented setups using an offset hook. When combined with a prop component in a Prop Ball Rig, it adds flash from the rotating prop while maintaining the presence of the body and rubber strands. Rather than being worked with a continuous, forceful retrieve, it can be used by shaking the line to rotate the prop intermittently, as well as with free-fall, tension-fall, and midwater swimming presentations. By balancing the amount of rubber with the strength of the prop, it can also be tuned for a slow presentation with minimal changes in posture. Taking advantage of its body shape and rubber configuration, this model can be used for everything from surface presentations that imitate insects to sinking rigs such as drop-shot and free rigs.
