RAID JAPAN’s 1WAY HYBRID is a soft bait designed to generate water displacement and a crawling action that belie its compact body size. Based on the “1WAY,” traditionally used by cutting a 2WAY in half, it features special tuning to enhance its performance as a finished product rather than simply being cut down.

The head features a large water-catching surface, while the body is equipped with generously sized wings. By catching water, these components produce powerful water displacement from the bait’s small profile and create a crawling action in which the body moves from side to side when the line is pulled. In addition to presentations for sight fishing that take advantage of its responsiveness to angler input, it can be worked just below the surface as if escaping on a weightless rig, or manipulated with a reaction-oriented approach on a heavy drop-shot rig. From horizontal presentations using a retrieve to falls and near-bottom techniques that utilize the weight of the sinker, this model allows you to vary its action by combining different rigs and inputs.
