RAID JAPAN’s HIRA TAILOR is designed to combine the water displacement and sliding action required of a flat-bodied soft bait, making it ideal for presentations focused on baitfish. It features a block-like segmented body with deep slits, allowing the entire flattened body to push water. The ribs and slits create complex water disturbance, producing an irregular sliding action on the fall. During the retrieve, the body grips the water and undulates, while rod manipulation brings out an enticing, lifelike action. Its body shape also creates appeal when allowed to fall with slack line tension or paused on the bottom.

The 4.7-inch model is compatible with a variety of rigs, including weightless rigs, nail rigs, Texas rigs, weighted rigs, free rigs, leaderless drop-shot rigs, and neko rigs. When rigged with an offset hook, its flat body is well suited to sliding falls and maneuvering around cover. It can also be used as a jig trailer. The lineup includes 3.7-inch, 4.7-inch, and 5.7-inch models. As the middle size, the 4.7-inch model offers a well-balanced combination of water displacement and controllability.
