RAID JAPAN’s KILLER-D is a topwater plug designed to create a powerful presence on the surface that contrasts with its appearance. With a slow, steady retrieve, it produces a pleasing sound while churning the surface. Rather than diving and swimming just below the surface, it is retrieved at a consistent speed while floating, combining the movement and sound of the body with flashes from the tail blade to attract fish.
The body is made from a high-hardness, lightweight resin and is equipped with a high-strength duralumin crank metal plate lip at the front. The tail features water-catching dimples and a bronze blade, creating a design that generates sound while disturbing the surface during the retrieve. In addition, the offset hook positions provide a practical setup suited to its distinctive appearance. Measuring 82.5 mm in length and weighing in the 1 1/2 oz class, the lure is primarily designed for a slow, steady surface retrieve.
