RAID JAPAN’s G.I (GRAVITY IMPACT) is a compact jointed bait designed for anglers who fish on the move with minimal tackle. It downsizes a lip-equipped big bait to a size that can be handled with an MH-class rod. The 94.0 mm, 1 1/4 oz-class body delivers the presence of a big bait along with the ease of use unique to a compact bait, with its development focused on capitalizing on the brief feeding windows that can suddenly occur on the water.

The distinctive metal plate lip generates the lure’s diving action and movement during the retrieve. After casting near cover, quickly cranking the reel with a vigorous “grig-grig” motion and then stopping allows the lure to dive rapidly alongside the cover before slowly rising. By combining retrieves and pauses, the lure can be worked vertically at targeted spots rather than relying solely on a steady retrieve. It is also designed for use when current suddenly becomes stronger, such as after rainfall. A spare tail is included in the blister pack. During transport and storage, take care to prevent the lip edge from coming into contact with the line, rod, reel, or other equipment.
