RAID JAPAN’s FINESTICK is a 3.5-inch model that adapts the silhouette and action of the FANTASTIC for finesse applications. Rather than simply downsizing the bait, it features a soft, non-salted material with a design focused on enticing bites. Taking advantage of the material’s softness and buoyancy, the tail makes subtle movements even with lightweight rigs, creating a delicate presence during the fall and when shaken.

With a drop-shot rig, it can be used for mid-water swimming, where the tail wavers as the bait is pulled along by the sinker, as well as for shaking presentations near the bottom. It also pairs easily with jighead, light Carolina, split-shot, and weightless rigs, allowing anglers to take advantage of its slim, baitfish-inspired profile. Depending on the rig and fishing area, hook choices include a small, trout-style hook setup that minimizes interference with the body’s action, or an offset hook for fishing around cover. The FINESTICK 3.5-inch is a shad/minnow-shaped soft bait that can be used for presentations with limited movement on lightweight rigs, as well as mid-water approaches with a drop-shot rig.
